Apples have been on my mind a lot lately. A new school year means elementary classrooms are decorated with apples. Fall is just around the corner which means bushels apples. And of course in my quest to lose weight I need a filling snack without a bunch of calories (read: apples). So in honor of all this apple pie, tart and fritter goodness (mmmm…), I went apple picking in the beauty counter!
